Suecae Sounds is a Swedish electronica individual composing music for several years with tracker tools and beyond. Behind Suecae Sounds is Robert Halvarsson, born 1982 in the middle sized Swedish city of Karlstad. He got in touch with the musical hobbyist scene around the time he was 16 years old, eventually trying to write his own compositions with different brands of the immensely popular tracker programs.

While he started releasing music by various monikers, Suecae Sounds became 2006 the final way of letting go of the fear of exposing his music on a wider level. Of opening up and breathing in new creativity.

Suecae Sounds is focused on electronica in it's various forms, while not straying away from taking inspiration from different places and vistas musically. It is about striving to evolve into something that is unique, and hopefully contributing to experiences that are lasting for the listener. Looking Back while Stepping Up is his first full EP, released on Mephtik Netlabel in 2008. Future music releases is in the works, while he performs sporadically as a DJ, and have had a live debut in Stockholm backing break core artist Babylon Disco.
