When you hear the music of Steven Buckner, you'll hear different elements of styles of music that come together to form one. Steven's album Darkness Into Light Vol I: Deep Meditation is an album that has elements of Ambient, Jazz and Film Textures that surrounds the listener to discover their own inner peace.

The Michigan native started to play the piano at the age of 10 and since then has evolved into an accomplished composer performing at such venues as the Whitting Auditorium, IMA Sports Arena, and WFUM television to name a few. Steve also has done several projects for independant films that were shown thru the film festival circuit.

"In this day and age, music has and will always evolve in the direction society places itself. I hope to be a part of the process", says Steven who would also like to have his music shared to the masses one day.

At this time Steven is not signed to any record label, but markets his music by having his own website and selling his music online thru CDBaby, Amazon, and Apple Itunes. He says that this is the method many musicians are doing to do to sell their music and although having a major recording deal is nice, we have to set realistic goals to getting our music heard. After hearing Steven's music I can tell that he is no ordinary musician that does this for a hobby.
